Welcome to Flowers by Sophie Millington
FOUNDED IN 2009
Based in Exeter I locally source beautiful flowers and foliage and also love to incorporate home grown flora from my family allotment. I find constant inspiration in the changing of the seasons and the colours this brings in flowers.
With a background in fashion design and retail merchandising, I have combined these skills with my lifelong love of flowers! These floristry skills have been honed by working in London for the fabulous Real Flower Company within Selfridges, as well as a host of freelance projects around the country.
I always like to bring something different to the traditional flower arrangement. whether that’s using eclectic vessels, incorporating wild, wonderful and well chosen florals, creating installations or devising the most wonderful backdrops.
I arrange flowers predominantly for the South-West of England but am always willing to travel further afield and I am always keen to hear about flowering elsewhere in the country or overseas. 2018 saw our small team’s first wedding out in beautiful Ireland and stunning it was too!
When I am not flowering you can find me at Budleigh Salterton beach having a dip or cooking up a storm for friends and family.
